Pathways to Success: Work-Based Learning

Educators

The Coachella Valley Economic Partnership’s (CVEP) Work-Based Learning and Scholarship Programs assist regional faculty and students by facilitating business and education connections. Our mission is to advance an educated workforce for a thriving local economy.

Welcome Education Partners!
CVEP recognizes the need for powerful industry links to established education programs. The work under each of our three Industry Councils (Arts, Media & Entertainment; Advanced Technologies; and Healthcare) can be of key assistance to your work by providing industry linkages, program strategies, funding, protocol, tools and professional development programs to advance and enhance your programs.

Serving as an intermediary organization, our initiative brings together regional best practices to inform industry and education partners alike. To that end many of our industry partners have requested our services in the area of streamlining work-based learning requests and placements on their behalf.

Our highly developed database functions as a central repository for reflecting demand and capacity, protocol, in-kind reporting, and documentation requirements of our partner sites.

We have compiled regional and national best practice resources in the development of a web-based work-based learning 'Toolkit' which we look to serving as a local gold standard for all work-based learning programs.

We look forward to assisting you in the preparation of our region's next generation workforce!
